$70 is def not worth it, you can get the same strip on AliExpress for $16. When I got ambient lightning for my S I got "gotcha'd" for $170 from one of those dropship sites for the same stupid kit that I would've been able to get for <$50 from China.

Oh wow, that is pretty bad. I think you're definitely in for a replacement. Still, take off the mirror when you take it in so it becomes less of a pain in the ass for everyone. I always just take mine off whenever they'll be working on the front/cabin cameras.
