This is really apples and oranges. None of the other currently produced vehicles in Tesla's portfolio has a 7-figure backlog. They know how many S/3/X/Ys they produce in a week/month. They ~know how many of each are ordered, and so they know how long it takes to deliver one of those. With...
Yes. Per every other Tesla model launch: They will let you know the initial configurations/ what is available to you when you are invited to order. At that point you can order, cancel, or simply wait in the queue until you want to place your order. If you wait, it's basically like sitting at...
Our Sept, 2018 Model 3 had 310 mile range. Over 5 years later, if we charge it to 100% we still get 299 miles, or over 96%. Some of it depends on your use and charging habits, but that's pretty dang good. YMMV.
We typically do an annual vacation with our 2018 Model 3 and while there we only charge off a standard three prong outlet in the garage. We consistently get a whisker under a 5 mph charge rate. So IF the charging rates were identical, I would think you'd also get 48-49 miles of charging in 10...
Isn't that what the little dot by the tailgate would be? I assume the tonneau is highlighted so a "pullup" menu tree is shown above the "dot". Then that other "dot" would be for the tail gate. I'd assume bed lighting would be on a different light menu, but just conjecture.
Warehouse on Wheels! 10 August 2022 Giga Texas Factory Construction Update (07:15AM) - YouTube Here is a 15-month-old video that Joe Tegtmeyer did that shows the Aug 2022 WoW (most of this has since moved across the highway to another spot) as well as a fairly detailed explanation for the logic...
Freemont plant for one. ?
At Giga Texas, they have extensive Warehouse on Wheels (WoW) lots in two different locations. There, 48-foot trailers full of materials are stored short term, then wheeled over to the plant as needed. It is more efficient than filling the entire factory with...
I agree that this is probably the case. They know they've got hundreds of thousands sold, regardless. So let all the haters hate and then look like fools when the production vehicles hit the streets and greatly exceed expectations. Jalopnik, Gustavo Ruffo, all the usual suspects spewing hate...
That color scheme looks good, but as mentioned above, it is just a shadow/ reflection. The other photos from this sighting in a different thread show that this is just a regular ole SS CyberTruck with RC decals. Above the beltline is silver like the rest of the body.
When we got the Model 3 in 2018, we installed the Tesla home charger in the garage and shortsightedly chose the 7' cable option vs the ~25' option. We could easily get by with one home charger for the two vehicles, but the 7' cord will just barely reach if I back the second vehicle up kitty...
