So your thinking a coordinated bad press attack? Seems like a bad day for it considering no one believes what they see online today due to the April Fools. If it was a misinformation attack I would think it would be worse news and more attention grabbing than just "cybertruck breaks and has to...
My crystal ball is not as good as yours is but in 24hours the price of trucks has dropped another 10k or so and there are 4 more listed on cargurus alone. That to me does not signal prices going up.
Jhodgesatmb with a 1130 RN you will likely get an invite the traditional way faster than shareholder path.
Think the shareholder path is for employees with options and folks like me with a ton of stock but a 1210 RN to be able to get a truck this year.
Deliveries are increasing, so the total number of problems are increasing.
The other major factor is regular people are now getting CT, it is not just employees with NDAs or influencers who got an early truck with stipulations, it is regular joes like my son who are getting CTs and when they...
I think that is a good way to look at it. CT and especially FS CT are not investments, at least not anymore. Fun second vehicle and a blast to drive on the weekend around town, but not a way to profit or store equity.
In a couple of years it will be a viable daily driver. For now it is a luxury extra vehicle, not reliable enough for someone to use for regular transportation and the battery pack is far to small and the charging to slow for a work truck or distance commuting.
139 maybe if towing a light load and taking the battery from 100 percent to needing a tow. Viable range unless you have one of those diesel mobile charging stations is 100
This video of a supposed owner taking delivery and breaking as soon as they turn out of the Tesla dealership is blowing up online.
1. Pretty elaborate fake
2. Being April Fools day makes me suspect
3. The little touch of the Tesla paperwork flying off the dash is either attention to detail for...
They could price the CT at $500k a vehicle if they wanted, but to much competition and if the CT does not sell out for the next 3 years it will be considered a "failure" that and it would fly in the face of "affordable EV truck" which has been the cornerstone of the project.
Yea this for me was the biggest disappointment in the truck. The undersized battery is fine if it can charge quickly but for some reason the CT just loves the 100kwh range when supercharging which results in a super slow charge after the first few minutes at higher kwh.
If you are still on the...
If it is your primary method of transportation I would wait given the large number of failures.
If you want a fun truck while it is new pay the extra $20k and realize it is a fun test car for short trips around town where if it breaks it is no big deal.
My son's broke on a road trip, was a...
Buddy I have been loaning uncle Elon thousands for almost a decade for FSD. Another 10 years and he will deliver and if I can sleep while my car drives and be safer it will be worth it. Be a while yet so if you don't have several years to wait keep your $
