  1. Why CT drains the battery so much in sentry mode?

It is the case. Currently the truck while idle chews through 10-15kwh per day. Or the equivalent of driving a model 3 60miles a day, or powering some efficient houses for a day. Tesla will need to correct this if they want to keep up the reputation for green vehicles. Better off to have an ICE...
  2. Flippers are done! 150+ Cybertruck for-sale listings

Demand and price are highly correlated. The simple fact that there were 20 trucks on CG a week ago and now there are over 60 and the lowest price one has gone from $159k to $123k in a week lets you know about demand on the aftermarket. How you read those tea leaves and determine price and demand...
  3. Safety restraint system fault

Problems get reported, nominal function does not, very true. With such a small number of vehicles reported it seems like an unusually high percentage of significant failures compared to legacy auto and even compared to Tesla early production.
  4. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

People get easily bent out of shape, title that is more descriptive is helpful, new tittle is better although the first one did not offend me. Hopefully the important thing of your truck getting fixed happens, title or no title
  5. Tesla Doesn't Want to Buy My Cybertruck

I suppose the issues were unforeseen, maybe enough for Tesla to buy it back
  6. Flippers are done! 150+ Cybertruck for-sale listings

If it was the plan it is working, only downside is it may hit legitimate buyers resale value after a year but time will tell.
  7. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

Yea title was not perfect, delivery experience may have been fine, driving and quality more the issue.
  8. Flippers are done! 150+ Cybertruck for-sale listings

Still surprised to see how quickly they have fallen, trucks are less than 6mo old and under 1,000 miles and getting close to less than new pricing so it seems like most people who really wanted one got one.
  9. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

Early adopter issues are one thing to get the fancy new car everyone is talking about, stranding people on the side of the highway if they can pull over is another. Will be a solo person driver car until it shows some consistency after the fix.
  10. Upgradable battery packs

Built that way for ease of manufacturing and replacement.
  11. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

They fixed it and then he made it about 10mins down the road and it broke again. First time he was on a road trip with family and got stranded a couple hundred miles from home, a real mess. TOld him he cant take the grandkids in it again until he has 300+ problem free miles.
  12. Safety restraint system fault

Feel like the errors are getting out of control, seems like they are the norm not the exception. Hope Tesla can get these under control.
  13. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

Great other than it does not move. My son's truck had the same issue but he got a couple hundred miles before getting stranded, ask them about the harness that is likely the issue.
  14. Thinking about canceling my Cybertruck order.

Tired of waiting or scared of all the early production problems?
  15. Driver-side external door open switch intermittently working

Tesla is designing cars to last for 20+ years. You should get 150,000 uses of door switch before even thinking about a problem. The passenger side on my son's truck does not work and has to be opened from the outside until fixed by Tesla, put in a ticket.
  16. Cybertruck builds having some growing pains…?

Tesla will have things fixed by then, they can not afford not to. If they continue to ship CT with as many problems as they have now they will go out of business. Like always Tesla early release vehicles are a mess, my son's is a brick until they fix his wiring harness but if you get yours a...
  17. Tesla Doesn't Want to Buy My Cybertruck

A lot of people bought to flip, more bought to flip when they saw one sell for 200k. But the demand for anything over retail has slowed and each day there are more listed and prices drop. Week or two from now they will be 120k or less.
  18. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

That the one you got? A lot of trucks are having high voltage issues related to harness which makes trucks unusable.
  19. Crystal ball says...

The stainless is a truck and luxury only finish. It only beats paint if you don't care what it looks like or you wrap it. Not going to sell a 30k car that needs a 6k wrap or constant attention
