It is the case.
Currently the truck while idle chews through 10-15kwh per day. Or the equivalent of driving a model 3 60miles a day, or powering some efficient houses for a day.
Tesla will need to correct this if they want to keep up the reputation for green vehicles.
Better off to have an ICE...
Demand and price are highly correlated.
The simple fact that there were 20 trucks on CG a week ago and now there are over 60 and the lowest price one has gone from $159k to $123k in a week lets you know about demand on the aftermarket. How you read those tea leaves and determine price and demand...
Problems get reported, nominal function does not, very true. With such a small number of vehicles reported it seems like an unusually high percentage of significant failures compared to legacy auto and even compared to Tesla early production.
People get easily bent out of shape, title that is more descriptive is helpful, new tittle is better although the first one did not offend me.
Hopefully the important thing of your truck getting fixed happens, title or no title
Still surprised to see how quickly they have fallen, trucks are less than 6mo old and under 1,000 miles and getting close to less than new pricing so it seems like most people who really wanted one got one.
Early adopter issues are one thing to get the fancy new car everyone is talking about, stranding people on the side of the highway if they can pull over is another. Will be a solo person driver car until it shows some consistency after the fix.
They fixed it and then he made it about 10mins down the road and it broke again.
First time he was on a road trip with family and got stranded a couple hundred miles from home, a real mess. TOld him he cant take the grandkids in it again until he has 300+ problem free miles.
Great other than it does not move.
My son's truck had the same issue but he got a couple hundred miles before getting stranded, ask them about the harness that is likely the issue.
Tesla is designing cars to last for 20+ years. You should get 150,000 uses of door switch before even thinking about a problem.
The passenger side on my son's truck does not work and has to be opened from the outside until fixed by Tesla, put in a ticket.
Tesla will have things fixed by then, they can not afford not to. If they continue to ship CT with as many problems as they have now they will go out of business.
Like always Tesla early release vehicles are a mess, my son's is a brick until they fix his wiring harness but if you get yours a...
A lot of people bought to flip, more bought to flip when they saw one sell for 200k. But the demand for anything over retail has slowed and each day there are more listed and prices drop. Week or two from now they will be 120k or less.
The stainless is a truck and luxury only finish.
It only beats paint if you don't care what it looks like or you wrap it.
Not going to sell a 30k car that needs a 6k wrap or constant attention
