They have GPS location of vin at all times, they just for some reason are choosing not to show you exact location. I got vin 4/10, went to SC and they showed me the map on the computer showing it was in Texas railyard. Wednesday this week when I stopped by they looked up my vin again and showed...
Glad you got your truck and hope you love it. I am waiting on my sc to get the jig and same issue may be at play. My truck is on the lot and I've inspected exterior...I would have brought a stack of dollar bills if I'd have known such a tease would occur.
I am anxiously awaiting the responses...
My sc is also waiting on pedal fix still. They have my truck on the lot with about 20 others and they have "no idea" when the delivery hold will be lifted even though other centers are delivering.
The fundamental principle of humanity is that people will do the least amount of work in a day possible that they can get away with. The plus or minus on deliveries per day can be quite large depending on work culture and individual motivation IMHO.
You are very short-sighted and haven't seem...
From @Avery21
"Update for me: So I kept my cool for one day and didn't call two days ago. Yesterday I couldn't take it and asked on the App for for an "update, please" about 10 minutes later, I got the call that it was ready. Picking it up today at 3pm! Was it ready the day prior and they just...
There is plenty of evidence on this thread and others of someone lighting a fire under the ass of a service center to get them to do something they could have already done but didn't. Your arguments leave no room for reasonable inquiry for when someone is getting a 100k product. This is not a...
I think it is cathartic for some. It is also justifiable to call Tesla as there was a post where a truck was on lot at Libertyville for 1.5 weeks and sc said it wasn't in and the the poster called main Tesla number and just like that took delivery in 48 hours.
If SC quality and communication...
I would say it is blindingly obvious Tesla could communicate better, especially when they require such a narrow delivery window. That was main reason I went to SC is knowing my truck is on the lot helps me prepare to get insurance quote and be ready for delivery and start to think about work...
The timeline of equipment delivery to each SC is clearly variable for the accelerator pedal. I went to SC today and my truck is on the lot along with about 20 others but they are still on delivery hold with no idea/timeline when they will resume.
There has been a ton of FL vins recently, mine included on 4/10. I think this is AI based decision making on sending batches to different regions when a critical mass of orders are present.
I can say with certainty that all florida trucks go to Jacksonville by rail then semi trailer down south. My nannies husband is a truck driver that takes cybertrucks, other teslas etc. Watch for delivery dates for people in jax and then once they uave dates yours will probably be 5 to 10 days later.
I agree after seeing the BFK stains on plastic trim that don't seem to come out. I also agree with OP that some pride in your product is expected. Definitely let them know on feedback.
Don't use tonneau and take to service. Unless you have a toilet snake type camera and long narrow grasping device I don't think you will get it on your own. I think you would also have trouble getting a grip on the iPad with a metal coat hanger. I also imagine the space is too narrow for one of...
100% agree tx and ca are first due to parts and service centers and customer base in California is largest.
I think AI is used in part to help with order logistics. They use AI for fsd so why not use it for order logistics? I think they take RN numbers and use AI to organize them by order date...
