Photos: Windows rolled down & windshield wiper coverage area

Or two blades inside the bow. One stationary and one (at the tip) extends and retracts just in time to cover the missed area.

Photos: Windows rolled down & windshield wiper coverage area

If I was tasked to make that BAW work, I would put all my mental energy in figuring out a reliable mechanism to make the same BAW move laterally instead of traditional rotation. Not saying it is easy, but their optimus mechanical engineers could figure it out. In addition to covering all of...

First photos of $8K factory color PPF wrap job (Forest Green) are not promising 🫤

This is a good sign. If we have to pay $8K to make CT look like what is included with any other truck, it should mean we can get CT for $8K less than competition.

Buena Park, CA Tesla store has a Cybertruck displayed -- walkaround video with "measurements"

Great video is this metal or plastic? I like the rear light brightness exactly as is. I absolutely hate the blinding lights of some Mercedes when I get stuck behind them at night on a one lane road. Some are so bad even giving the some distance does not help enough.

Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

I agree that there is a distinction on what they want to share at the event and outside of it. What is more interesting to me about the "listed" info is how Tesla chose to communicate this information to 1-2 million reservation holders after four years of waiting; through a third hand post on a...

Confirmed: 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload capacity (official specs)! + Shatter-resistant glass

It seems like most posted info is targeted to be the best. Since payload did not meet originally announced specs but still better than other BEV trucks, range may not meet the original 500 but beat Silverado on paper.

    How to charge at home?

You know we are no good when it comes to waiting around here. Especially to answer my questions, we may have to play around with CT for a decade or two. Unless we get a Solid State 4680 in CT. Now, that would make the announcement at the end of the month something of a historic moment.

Official Prediction Thread: What will be announced on November 30th?

Now that would be an interesting prediction thread. Where CT price and sales stand in 2028 (and 2032) with respect to the rest of BEV truck market and truck market as a whole. If my crystal ball was not in the shop for a major repair, I would start that thread.

The Rock and Joe Rogan talk Cybertruck

Design choices have always fascinated me. Why AL (Mighty) designed for twins not singletons or quadruplets. 2021 data for U.S.: Why CT charge port is where it is. Why…….. Should we have a pole on the forum to see if this is true? People only exist online these days and online world is...

    How to charge at home?

are you saying sitting at 45% over 50% (95% SOC) for 24 hours is worse than 45% under 50% (5% SOC) for a day (provided there is only 1% daily loss)?

    TSLA vs Cybertruck expectations

Beauty of FSD is once operational, it does not need much raw material and labor, it is mostly profit. However as GM is finding out now, it is a bit of a wild card. Once a Tesla runs over a cute dog, regardless of how statistically insignificant, things can get shaky. Of course Tesla can...

Tesla sees critical supplier get snatched up by GM

    How to charge at home?

Which one is worse for the battery; higher number of cycles? Or spending more time at SOCs away from from 50%? Assuming in both cases you consume the same number of KWhs annually. In other words charging to 90% using 10% every day until you hit 10% (1 cycle but spending a day at 90% and a...

    TSLA vs Cybertruck expectations

sure but the data is for a quarter. If you take the CT relevant part of each, multiply by 4 and add them up, wait until interest rates come down, it is still a good chunk of demand, CT can steal from. Of course people say CT is stealing mostly from non-truck ICE market but I really don’t know...

    TSLA vs Cybertruck expectations

May be true but depends on how much of the pie CT takes and what margins are, that could be healthy size footnote. Q1 22 vs Q1 23 pickup sales:

    CyberTruck Range ??

I have a feeling a lot of people waiting for a 500 mile CT that are at mid to end of the line will be looking at Lucid gravity. Serious tow needs probably will go to ICE. If you are not serious, then 6K lb of Lucid may be enough. 3.5 sec 0-60. 1500 lb payload. Probably better feeling of...

F150 Lightning on Hollister Hills Staircase

Seeing these heavy long wheelbase trucks on steep bumpy hills made for 2 door jeeps looks like truck abuse and should be reported. I like to see motor and battery temp on that Ford after the climb.
