  1. Rear camera visibility

This is a persistent issue in the rain for me. I tried the lens cover you mention and then just took it off- I didn't see any improvement. The placement of the camera just means it rapidly gets obscured in rain, wet roads, snow. Sounds like some vehicles have effective ways of rinsing the lens...
  2. Say Goodbye to Complex Installations! Tesstudio’s New V3 Rotating Mount for Cybertruck + Giveaway

I tried again to see if I could swap the V2 for V3. It turns out that this was a total lie in their posting. Now they say you can't return it unless there is something wrong with it. Here is the reply I received: Dear Paul , Thank you for your reply. I have consulted with the colleague...
  3. Say Goodbye to Complex Installations! Tesstudio’s New V3 Rotating Mount for Cybertruck + Giveaway

So I contacted Tesstudio about a free exchange for my unopened V2 product. It turns out "Free" is not really "Free". Here is the reply: Thank you for contacting us. We understand your concerns about installation. The V2 and V3 differ only in the design of the bracket; the installation method is...
  4. Tesla bike tailgate shield pad protector thingy.

I just hang the front tire over the tailgate, and I use a bungee cord to strap the bike to an L-track hook for extra stability. It is very stable.
  5. CyberTruck Owners - Reliability of Vehicle?

Like others, I have had no problems at all with reliability. I have had to go to the shop rarely- once I tore off part of the plastic trim, so it was just cosmetic, and once to pick up my CyberTent. It has been a great vehicle and everything works.
  6. Tesla bike tailgate shield pad protector thingy.

I bought one 6 months ago and I love it. I just leave it on and don't worry about it. It looks great and I hang a bike over the tailgate to transport it to trails.
  7. Cybertent ordering and installation

I went to get it installed and was told that I should just install it myself. They put it in the bed, and I haven't installed it yet.
  8. Wheel covers popping off...

My passenger side rear cover has popped off twice, and it happened when bumping a small curb at the exit to my parking garage, which was barely noticeable. Just the right nudge and this one comes off cleanly. Obviously trying to avoid this curb that seems exactly the right height to pop it off.
  9. What Did You Name / Nickname Your Cybertruck?

Mine is CyberFRED. Always have a vehicle named Fred, don't ask me why.
  10. Need to replace wheel fenders and not with the cheap plastic.

Mine on driver’s side was torn off after hitting a little compacted snow. Very cheap decorative piece.
  11. Why must a spare tire be "installed" at a Service Center

I was also confused, because I just wanted the spare tire to have on hand and not keep it in the bed. However, they did need to mount and balance the wheel and tire combo, which it sounded like wasn't done prior to my arrival. Anyway, they just put the whole thing (with jack kit) in the back of...
  12. Any regrets after buying Cybertruck?

No Regrets! I initially had some doubts when I realized I had to widen my 8' garage doors, but it was well worth it!
  13. The poor performance of the rear camera in not a very heavy rain

This is a real problem. It is important to know who is coming up on you whether it is raining or not.
  14. Carrying 2 Kayak in bed: super-easy hauling without accessories

I’m not sure the tonneau is designed to take much pressure, so we didn’t want to test that. We did partially close it but not up against the kayaks.
  15. Carrying 2 Kayak in bed: super-easy hauling without accessories

My wife and I wanted to check out the ability of our cybertruck to carry our kayaks, without roof racks. We have the tailgate pad, and just laid the kayaks over this and used two straps for a tie down. Super simple and it was a very stable ride to the lake and back. Lots of thumbs up! signs...
