ok i just tried it, even with the sentry mode on and without my phone with me, wouldn't trigger the owl to pop up on the monitor until i tried to open the door. so for some reason this latest update messed up my camera detection sentry mode.

i just updated to the latest software 2026.2.9.10 last night, and today was the one time i drove it out and had the incident. so i am not getting any recordings at all since the update.

Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity of sentry mode? I've read people has gotten hundreds of notifications and then there's me on the other end. Never once did it record anything and today I found a capri sun juice bag shoved in between the plastic wheel well trim and the stainless-steel...

I couldn't get the double sided tape to seal tight either. so i ended up putting black gorilla tape across the wind deflector onto the windshield.

could it be the wind factor? if you're heading into a head wind, it might not calculate it as accurately.

I have an R7, and just recently discovered that when charging at home my R7 flashes on and off. I have mine plugged into the usb-c in the center console, so that tells me the power to the usb-c is intermittently turning off and on while charging... is anyone else having this problem?

On another note, does anyone know how effective the pit maneuver is to the cybertruck? Most vehicles are lighter in the back and it’s easier to spin out the rear. But with the cybertruck it’s lower center of gravity and weight probably makes it very hard to do?

Originally, I had it turned off because I didn't want the detector to be on all the time when the truck is parked. However it didn't make a difference with it able or not because the detector is still flashing on and turning off when the truck is parked and locked.

I had that happened to me when I was falling asleep at the wheel. Yea the scroll wheel wouldn’t turn it down. By the time I messed with it and found turning it off and on worked, I was fully awake. I thought it was latest update that Tesla programmed into the car to battle sleepiness! lol.
