Sentry mode sensitivity adjustment?

Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity of sentry mode? I've read people has gotten hundreds of notifications and then there's me on the other end. Never once did it record anything and today I found a capri sun juice bag shoved in between the plastic wheel well trim and the stainless-steel body. There wasn't any damages done to the truck, but it's disconcerting that someone was close enough to touch the truck and sentry mode didn't record anything?!?!?

Since I got the update, I'm getting over 100 per night.

i just updated to the latest software 2026.2.9.10 last night, and today was the one time i drove it out and had the incident. so i am not getting any recordings at all since the update.

There is a toggle in the safety menu, detect camera based events or something like that, toggle it on. Also you can test it by leaving your phone off away from the truck and approach it due style, I don’t even mind if you kick it a few times. See if it goes you an event in the car when you unlock it.

ok i just tried it, even with the sentry mode on and without my phone with me, wouldn't trigger the owl to pop up on the monitor until i tried to open the door. so for some reason this latest update messed up my camera detection sentry mode.

Since the last 2 updates, I've gotten 87 events in 1 night. They are all "ghost" triggers where the brake lights flash but nothing appreciable is seen on any of the camera views. It would be nice to be able to toggle the motion sensitivity, such as on a Ring Doorbell.

I updated my truck late saturday night while away from the house and truck was in the garage. When I got back to the house Tuesday night, I had 108 sentry events. They definitely increased the sensitivity for me. I was on a cruise the past 2 weeks and the week and a half prior to the update I had 2 sentry events from some blinking leds for my power tool charger I think.
