Feature request: when Teslas are parked with the windows cracked for ventilation, programmatically watch for rain drops (same subroutine that cues wipers when th car is moving.) When rain drops are detected, shut the #@$*! windows!
I have been using a 256GB memory stick for a year but, when I pulled it today and looked for video off an incident I passed last week, I noticed it has only kept two days of videos,
I have had a 256GB memory stick in my Cybertruck for a year, no problems. But, FYI, when I pulled it today to...
New FSD is worse, doesn't allow "setting" speed limits, substitutes 5 levels of haul ass. The slowest level, dubbed "sloth" mode, limits the vehicle to the posted speed, where speed limits are posted. When no speed limit is posted and the road is narrow, twisted, hilly, has no shoulders and...
Mine was hardware, or was made worse by a hardware issue. It got progressively worse and, I believe, self reported. I had to take it into service. Fortunately, repair only took minutes. Just cleaning the part of the windshield under the center camera cover and, I think, a software update.
That...
Not certified for Tesla but I've been an electronics hobbiest for 60 years, built and sold computers before Michael Dell learned to shave, wired dozens of houses.
I've studied it and I'm gonna install my Powershare myself. I'm sticking it below the meter, before the panel, with a new main...
Keep reporting. I had minor complaint with Model 3, car didn't slow for a rough railroad crossing near the house. Reported it a couple of times and, after software update, car regularly slowed for that crossing.
Software team is fantastic and responsive, like early-days Microsoft. However...
1) Yells to take over ✓
2) Randomly disengages ✓
3) I haven't seen any driving mistakes on trips before disengagements X
4) Neither "city" nor "highway" driving but rural roads, probably because that's where I live and so it's most of my driving.
Because the frequency of disengagements...
Buzzer goes off, red hands on wheel fill screen, vehicle decelerates. "Take over" is written on screen.
Was taking it to visit an old friend today, a guy I haven't seen in 20 years, but when, an hour out, the FSD program crashed, I turned around. Friends who've seen it want to take a ride, of...
Not so bad. After turning left onto a two lane road, mine often aligns itself in the left lane-- the oncoming traffic lane!
This truck is my third Tesla and I know how great their FSD can be. I've just assumed it had software issues but, if I'm the only one, it's a hardware problem and I'll have...
Can't get FSD to stay engaged for more than 30 min. Truck (and cameras) are clean, weather is sunny and perfect, traffic light to nonexistent. I'm hoping it's that last software update, it got much worse after it.
Anybody else in FSD hell?
Probably but I haven't tried it yet. I can see the air valve but it's slightly below the surface of the wheel cover. An angled air chuck might go right in there. Most people will just pop the hubcaps off, though. They attach really easily, after you figure out the alignment.
