Can't get FSD to stay engaged for more than 30 min. Truck (and cameras) are clean, weather is sunny and perfect, traffic light to nonexistent. I'm hoping it's that last software update, it got much worse after it.
Anybody else in FSD hell?

Not so bad. After turning left onto a two lane road, mine often aligns itself in the left lane-- the oncoming traffic lane!
This truck is my third Tesla and I know how great their FSD can be. I've just assumed it had software issues but, if I'm the only one, it's a hardware problem and I'll have to take it in.

What do you mean? It just yells for you to take over? It randomly disengages? Or it just makes a bunch of mistakes? Are you referring to city or highway driving?

Buzzer goes off, red hands on wheel fill screen, vehicle decelerates. "Take over" is written on screen.
Was taking it to visit an old friend today, a guy I haven't seen in 20 years, but when, an hour out, the FSD program crashed, I turned around. Friends who've seen it want to take a ride, of course, and it isn't fun if that WWIII ICBMs-incoming siren goes off in the cab.
Good news, though, is the driving computer resets, sometimes, in just minutes.

Interesting. Does it say why? Have you checked your alerts or put it into service mode to check alert history/codes?

Haven't checked codes or done service mode. How's that work?

FSD randomly shut off when entering underground tunnel, red alert to take over etc. TACC seems to struggle at this location as well, always decelerating at this location. FSD Resumed immediately though.

1) Yells to take over âś“
2) Randomly disengages âś“
3) I haven't seen any driving mistakes on trips before disengagements X
4) Neither "city" nor "highway" driving but rural roads, probably because that's where I live and so it's most of my driving.
Because the frequency of disengagements increased dramatically after the most recent software update I suspect the problem is there, either in the software as written or, since no one here is reporting similar problems, in the data as it streamed to my truck.
Doubt it's a hardware problem, the dramatically increasing rate of disengagements (excluding disengagements for inattention) don't suggest something as stable as wiring.
Unless it has something to do with me having driven the car through a car wash before the trip yesterday --- ya think?

My FSD always drive close to the left lane on freeway. It’s weird…
My FSD also drive close to left lane on freeway when it makes big right curve turn, sometimes cross solid line to the left side outbound, kind of scary.

I have also had the issue several times where the truck would pull into the oncoming traffic lane. Most times it has worked flawlessly. Mine was hugging the center line also. Clearing the camera calibration didn't help. After a few miles of putting pressure on the steering squirkle, it moved over to the right side of the lane.
