I'm not aware of a max size, but it does need full usb 3.1 or better transfer rates and can't consume more than 60W. As long as you have that you should be good!

I've read about the min storage size of the USB stick in the glove box re: sentry and general recording (64GB), but is there a maximum size for an external drive? The CT comes with a 128GB stick - was thinking about using a 4TB portable SSD Drive. Any thoughts.

I have been using a 256GB memory stick for a year but, when I pulled it today and looked for video off an incident I passed last week, I noticed it has only kept two days of videos,

I have had a 256GB memory stick in my Cybertruck for a year, no problems. But, FYI, when I pulled it today to look at what it recorded when I passed a wreck last week, it had only the last two days of video, less than 10GB, in the "Recents" folder.

Yeah, I wish it used a much larger ring buffer. It would be nice if one could specify how many hours or % disk usage to use.
