thank you for sharing this video. it is interesting to learn that most people there are ok with a $1500 or so monthly payment on a vehicle. I am not in that category but I started thinking about how to end up with a $1000/month target payment.

a fictitious scenario could be.

so to get $52k at 7% interest:

loan duration ---> monthly payment
48mos -----> $1,260/mo
60mos----> $1,042/mo
72mos----> $897/mo
84mos ----> $794/mo

the other piece I should work on: put down like $48k (sell existing car, savings, sell Tesla or other stock that actually performed) + factor in the $7,500 allowance)

hmm... me go back to work harder! I have 2y to make the $48k pool until my AWD comes.

My company is buying the truck as a Work Truck on a four year business loan. After interest the loan payments will equal maybe 4% of annual revenue each year, so it's not a big deal especially with all of the tax benefits that come with it.
