Saved $1,500 per month since I made the reservation. Have $72,000 and a personalized license plate ready. When my name is pulled, I’ll have more cash on hand. No financing needed. I’ll also get a few aftermarket lights and a wrap.

270k per year.
I already have my plate...MR CYBER?

Bank of America business auto loan officer called me out of the blue after applying and came back with a much better deal than initially offered (6.4% Apr 72 months 1600ish/ month $3,600 down (including deposits) vs initial offer of 8% interest 36 months $2400ish/month $25k down). Excited now waiting on delivery date to finalize and see what the official terms are. We shall see ?
Edit: it’s a company vehicle ??

It seems 50/50 on cash finance
Ok so your the Tesla deal guy.
How is this $4,500 new Model Y discount going to impact the cost of USED Model Ys? Right now used Model Ys are more than a new one which is wild!
You think Tesla will do a "buy a model Y, get expedited CT delivery"?

I was doing door dash over the past two years and made about $24,000 a year as extra money, but I have investments that earn me about $45K to $50K a year, I have an account which so far has $24,000 for the Cybertruck. I am really hoping I still have 2 years until I get it, because maybe the defects of creaks and squeaks and bangs type noises, and harness issues, and all other problems will be figured out by that time. It would be cool if my account will have reached $60,000 by the time my number comes up.

I'm a Manager and my wife is in ITS. Wifey and I make just under $200k+ per year credit scores over 800
Financed 5yrs 5.95% $1100 down $2100 per month.

My Model 3 has been paid off for a few months. Only other bill we have is the house payment, but that is by far and away the most I've ever paid for a vehicle. I plan on making half a payment every other week when I get paid. Should pay it off in just over 4 years and save some interest.

I earn under $200K annual, M-F 9-5 civil engineer, 830 credit score, and am 61 yrs old, so can access retirement account penalty-free. Car loan interest (~7%) is higher than my retirement fund returns (~5%), so I’m “borrowing” from retirement funds to purchase CT outright. Instead of monthly auto payments, I’ll dramatically increase my 401(k) deposit percentage to “pay back” my retirement until I retire at 69-ish.
