Has ruined the experience of my other cars to be honest. The 'oh damn that's quick' factor in my M3P is still there, but I would still rather be driving the CT

uh oh... I don't like hearing this... my teen age son does though...

Just curious of those of us who have the truck and have been driving it, who wants to go back to another car? Not me.
I've only had it a month and so far it's been an over-the-top experience I would definitely not want to have missed, certainly no disappointments or regrets. I am not sure yet whether it will continue to be one I need long-term though.

At this point I could see myself trading it for something simpler, but I can also see myself growing so accustomed there would be nothing about it I am easily willing to give up. That happened with my 2013 Model S, I had expected to exchange it first for the smaller 3 when it became available, even put down a deposit, and then the larger more versatile Y, mostly to upgrade the tech, but there are features of the old S that I love and aren't' available anymore, at least not in one package, yet anyway, so I got my tech upgrade with the Cybertruck instead, big time.

Who knows what a year will bring? Perhaps there will be something else more tempting than I can imagine at the moment for one or both of my Teslas.

Hells nah. Only issue I'm having currently is phantom draining on the Mobile App when I'm not even using it! No Widget, turned off location/background refresh app and still no luck. Losing 2-3% a day just sitting there. Anyone having this issue?
Yeah, big drain just started yesterday, 20+ miles overnight, waiting to see if it repeats. I hope not.

Yeah mine is doing this. I turned off sentry and that slowed it down but it's still high.

HELL NO! This is the baddest truck/SUV/sports-car I've ever owned (I have the beast) nothing comes close...beyond stoked about this purchase.

No Way.
  • It’s a blast to drive.
  • Normal car steering now seems stupid to me
  • I don’t have to ever worry about parking next to a crappy car that will ding my doors or paint
  • I don’t have to be fussy washing it because you can’t scratch it
  • For a “general use” pickup truck, it’s got all I want. PLUS, the infotainment polish I love in a Tesla that other brands haven’t matched yet
No truck is perfect. But, if I want a truck, there isn’t any other truck I would trade this for.

I just sold mine, 2 many founders series issues.

Definitely gonna get one in a few years. For now back to Porsche.

After two months with it; I’ve gotten over the attention and just enjoy driving it almost daily. The easy entry is so darn nice too. I like the way it sits in High TBH, but the easy entry is just so easy for my wife and kids. Tesla nailed that. She’s 5,4”, and I’m 6’2”. No complaints, wouldn’t sell it for anything else out there right now. There are no comps.

Nope. If anything, we're gonna need a second one. Best vehicle we've ever had. We're 3.5 weeks in and our other car (Lexus RX350, wife's now-second-favorite car) is certainly doomed. We only drive it if one of us has already taken the CT.

I was out of town for a week and the phantom drain was 8.25 miles/day. I pay 32 cents per kWh to charge it. If I did my math right, that is about $500/year to sit in my garage. I'm sure they will get that down. My Model 3 is 0.7 miles/day or $42/day. The software version was 2024.14.7.
