One set of lights not on - my guess is high beams - fog and low beams on.

I really appreciate that they designed the headlamps to be lower to the ground than traditional trucks. Every modern pickup truck and jeep blinds me, even when they're on low beams. The hoods have gotten so high making the front fascia a flat wall, pushing up the headlamps.

Maybe not just figuratively but also literally. The first 5000 owners are going to have people pace them at highway speeds or race to catch up to get that shot, tail gate, walk in front of or walk into a power pole while staring or videoing. I know the members of this forum are biased and think it looks BA but to many it will be ‘out of this world’. When I look at the full size version of this photo, everyone is looking at this one of a kind, revolutionary ride. It will be hard to be humble when people stop and ask questions. The first 5000 will be ambassadors for Tesla, hopefully having limitless patience for the paparazzi.

Yeah, in this the silly DOT rule requiring a pair of lamps specifically may have actually made a better vehicle. Putting them down by the road means they're less blinding and they have to go through just slightly less fog to get back to your eyes (and the cameras).

Back in 2001 when the retro Thunderbird came out. I purchased 1 for my soon to be wife. She got pulled over 3 times in the first week. Didn't get a ticket. Maybe that's why I eventually married her 2 years later?
