I do not have a hiss at all.
There is definitely more lighting and they work with the headlights.. No need to operate them separately..

How do you turn on just the new light bar while leaving headlights off? Does the new lower light bar you installed turn on via the trunk power feed auxiliary button?

No it's wired in to your headlights so there isn't a way to turn it on by itself. However I've noticed that it will turn off when the truck is in park and the headlights will remain on if you have them set to stay on when you walk away. I believe you can also just turn on your parking lights and it will come on.

They're connected to the main lighting harness, it will come on automatically with the lights. It cannot be independently turn on or off which is fine with me. My rooftop lightbar on the other hand is turned on manually each time via the center screen UI (outlets/mods)

It's not blindingly bright and its light pattern is diffused similar to the factory Daytime Running Lightbar.

It is in Georgia. I can't see anyone having a problem with it since it is an accent light at the same level as the headlights and below the main accent bar.

What work are you referring to?

I'm not sure TBH. My guess that's how it's getting certain telemetry information as I have the C9 module in there that has several of them.
