Put me down to enter for the wheel caps. I think my user name says it all.... My favorite feature is obviously Beast Mode - the acceleration makes my vision blurry for a quick second and I kinda like it.

I love the active air suspension. By far, the best out there. The sound system is sublime, the steer by wire is a game changer, the 4-wheel steering takes it to a whole new level. And not to short change the power on my Cyberbeasts, it's a rocket with a truck body. I love my Tesla Cyberbeasts!!

I love that you can adjust the height, that means i can store it in my garage away from any nefarious creatures and beings while i am at home or asleep. I might leave it out sometimes just for show. But not overnight

This is where I wish we had Summon or at least manual park via the app. My garage space is pretty tight.

I heard that you can make an outline with tape or something and it makes self park think its a parking spot. I spent last weekend out there and the attic putting stuff up to add about 1.5 feet on each side of my model y. which SHOULD allow the truck to have a little more space, i have a big garage, easily could fit 2 cybertrucks in it., but i have so much halloween/xmas decorations... and i hate the attic, so not much up there. Plus we got crap that we need to get rid of. Which reminds me, i use my vehicles so little, i can charge them on the standard power outlet charging, sometimes on Tuesday and Wednesday i get into the 30s% when we goto therapy etc.. for our son, but otherwise i have no power issues, and if i do..I just run my big extension cord out from the dryer, i bought one of those boxes that plugs into it, that protects. Forgot what it's called, but anyway i can use that if i need power faster my point, i gotta go measure and see if the wall charger cord can go over far enough, i don't want to have a wall charger installed on the opposite side of the garage if i don't have to. i imagine that much electrical running would be expensive.

Yes. Also on the wireless charging pad as intended but it tends to get quite hot on the Cybertruck one. We use them in both our truck and x. In the x it just lives on the charging pad. Thats is kind of what makes it awesome and worth the Tesla tax
The Cybertruck makes it hot enough to bend the flap part of it if you leave it on there long enough.
Wish they would fix that in software already. The model x used to do the same thing and they fixed it in an update.
Tesla sent us a new one because of it. They are aware.

So it does fit, but it does not sit flat/flush with the bottom of the tray as it does in the drivers side (and presumably passengers side) front door. Suspect it might rattle around a little while driving over bumps.

I don't have any heat issues leaving it on the charger in my Cybertruck. I do have a wireless charging insert though:

https://amzn.to/4iL5hb1

Never thought I'd need something like this, but it does help keep devices in place, is easy to clean, and somehow keeps heat from building up. Feels random, but I'd recommend it.

On my old S Plaid, I never had heat issues BUT there was a ventilation duct vent hidden just above the wireless charging pad so there was constant directed airflow to keep devices cool.

Thatโ€™s interesting. I have a silicon mat there too. I asked the service center to look at it twice now and they said the โ€œcouldnโ€™t reproduceโ€ the problem but those batteries get scorching hot sitting on there. Maybe there is something wrong with my charging pad after all?
Not our first Tesla by any stretch of the imagination and itโ€™s definitely not the same. Much hotter.

This is the classical problem of the induction coils not aligning properly with the device to be charged. That's why the simplicity of Magsafe is so brilliant, guarantees perfect alignment, less heat and quick charging.

I think the S and X have active cooling, the old 3 and old Y do not. Not sure about the newer 3/Y but it was baffling to discover that Cybertruck has no active cooling for devices charging wirelessly. I've reoriented my center vents to blow into the center console area and that seems to help, but it's not perfect.

So how would one go about figuring out if they are perfectly aligned? Because if thatโ€™s the case, my solution might be 3d printing a holder for the two batteries which locates them well.

Find the engineering diagrams for the coils and take measurements? Thermal camera when charging? Weirdly, Tesla sold a desktop version of their charging pad that works better than the ones in the actual vehicles.

Kind of liking the thermal camera idea.
