Hey everyone,

I’m thinking about strapping my canoe onto the truck using the roof rack—but now that I’m about to hit the highway going 70+ mph, I’m getting cold feet. The angle of the Cybertruck has me second-guessing things. I’m starting to wonder if the wind shear could actually rip the canoe apart or send it flying.

Has anyone transported a canoe at highway speeds on this thing? I know people do it with kayaks, but a canoe feels like a different story. Am I overthinking it—or is this a legit concern?

One needs a rack that levels out the ramp of the truck. Not hard to find. Many of the vendors here offer those types of racks. @CYBERTRUCKco is one of those companies.

Have you tried using the bed? I have a 13ft kayak that I would use the bed for transporting. I have a hitch mounted bed extender that I used with my Yukon that I could also use but don’t think I’d need it.

Am I dumb to think my kayak is fine? I’m just worried about the canoe up there. Way more air would get caught.

Not a canoe but we transport our kayaks with the Mars rack and kayak racks off amazon.

Which carrier? I bought one from Amazon but it doesn’t fit the 3.5” cross bars
