I wanted to wait until I had some decent mileage on the truck before posting…

THIS IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE TECHNOLOGICAL MARVEL I’VE EVER SEEN!!!!

It drives like a sports car, until you want to off-road, and it transforms into a Baja rig.

It elicits gawkers everywhere. It accelerated… well, like a Tesla. (I’ve had 2 Model S and a Model Y)

Steer by wire is insanely good. I can’t believe how quickly and easily I adapted to squircle, STW and 4 wheel steering. Even the turn signal stalk delete, which I was skeptical of, is second nature in minutes.

I did have one service issue: the coolant manifold had to be replaced in the first two weeks. (Typical Elon, the service tech told me it’s has a “super man” logo on the manifold?). My experience was phenomenal… drove out one day with a model 3 loaner, came back the next day with my CT all fixed. No hassle. No charge.

Bravo Tesla.

I used my $2,500 credit to buy the tent, which will be installed in a few days. Already see the wiper and tonneau repairs schedules for the same day.

I couldn’t be happier. If you are on the fence… get this truck! Seriously! It’s f’ing amazing.

Did the gloss black wrap and it’s gorgeous. Stole the idea from someone else here and have Darth Vader’s “Yes, my Master” WAV at lock. (Sorry for not remembering who to credit).

Beautiful. But 4000 miles in one month? You'll be pushing 50,000 in a years time. That is some love for the road.

Ha, no lie. I have another nice car, but all I wanna do is drive this truck. It makes me happy every time I’m behind the wheel.

Thank you Elon. Space X 30x cold rolled steel with 4680 cells rocketing down the highway with all 4 wheels turning SBW. Heck ya!!!! I’m happier with this every day

Sorry to be vulgar, but the haters can Hawk (Hauck) Tuah. This truck has been repeatedly called a terrestrial spaceship.

And no, I don’t have any Tesla stock or work for the company. (I had a little stock a few years ago and made a little).

This is all genuine appreciation for a marvel of technology that is also super-fricking-fun.

That's what the haters have no clue about! They think this is just another regular electric car or truck that looks a lot different from the rest. They can't see past it's looks to see what really makes it different.

In reality, it looks a little different but, under the skin, it's a lot better.

Very well said. And I couldn’t agree with you more!

Someone asked me an interesting question about the truck the other day. Note, we have 3,500 miles on ours in just a little over 3 weeks. Anyway, they asked me what is the thing about it I like the most. I answered that what I like most is how it is so incredible in such a variety of areas. You‘ve mentioned a few.

It’s as quick as, and drives like a sports car. Yet it likewise drives as smooth as (arguably smoother) a high-end luxury car. It‘s an extremely capable workhorse of a pickup. It’s supposedly great off road (although I admittedly haven’t driven it that way yet). It has one of the best sound systems available in any vehicle. It also feels sort of like like you’re driving a spaceship in a video game. And it looks very futuristic; like from a space age yet to come. It has a very cool lockable tonneau cover that actually works. An engineering marvel indeed.

And it makes me smile. And it makes most who see it smile. So much fun!

Thanks for your comments!

Thank you! I’ve told so many people it’s like driving in a video game. And it makes everyone smile, except for the occasional middle-finger from coal-rollers, which always makes me smile. ?

... every now and then I wonder if I am being irresponsible financially ...)
JUST SAY NO to those sorts of sniveling doubtful thoughts of the weak brained cowards ... and find yourself the shocked owner of the best truck ever produced.

I'm totally envious of the Men in Black (CTs) but mine has gotta stay basic stainless because of the duties it has.

The ONLY solution is to have two, perhaps one Beastly Black and another pure stainless.

As the others get on the million-long reservation list...

F Yes!!!! This response forced from me an involuntary fist pump!

The sniveling, doubtful thoughts of the weak-brained cowards are the tears in my Viking mug with Elon’s face on each side.

The purveyors of FUD are plentiful, which is somewhat synonymous with common.

I don’t mean any of this CT love to be diminishing to other early adopters that have had legitimate problems. That’s part of the process and I can only imagine the pain of those who have had issues that left them without their terrestrial space ship (yes, I know this is oxymoronic) for more than a day.

But my daily celebration is undaunted. This is the future.
