I just got $1000 discount as a CT reservation holder for an inventory 2024 MY (shown as Referral Bonus), on top of its $3850 price adjustment. And also transferred FSD and free supercharging from MX trade in.

BTW, Tesla only offer $13K trade in value for a $100K 2016 MX 75D with FSD transfer

Update:
I thought I got FSD transferred, but somehow I did not. And nothing can be changed now.
Should have sell my MX to Recurrent instead

So they are now allowing price adjustments and the transferring of both FSD, and FUSC? Prior it had to be stock price and no discounts.

Thanks for sharing. What's that $3,850 price adjustment? I'm contemplating to buy Model Y now versus upgraded Juniper model Y in October.

Yes. The $3,850 price adjustment was there when I found it on the inventory page. Its condition is new. But Tesla won't tell me why there is a price adjustment, and said it is the same as a custom order.

I took advantage of that in December and traded my 2018 AWD 3 for a new inventory model y performance. They gave me over 22k for my 3, so after the inventory discount, 1k CT reservation bonus and tax credit, it was only about 20k to upgrade. Plus I got 6m free supercharging and 10,000 Tesla credits which I used to add the acceleration boost to my wife's y. The CT doesn't have the range I need to replace my tundra yet, so the y should hold me over for a few more years when they will hopefully get the battery capacity where it needs to be for my use.

Of course, they're going to low ball the trade in 1) they're a manufacturer, hey don't want to keep and deal with an inventory of used cars 2) They know that transferring the FSD has a value to you so they factor that in vs buying it again if you sell private party (why you would buy it in the first place is beyond me but that's another discussion) you would of been better off selling private party, you could of gotten double

Yep. The deals they are offering on Ys they have in inventory make it a pretty great deal for an awesome car, especially if you qualify for the tax credit. Honestly I had no intention of trading my 3 for anything other than the CT, but for the relatively low cost for a pretty big upgrade, I caved. MSRP on the MYP with a few options was $8500 more than a new 3 with the same options as my old one, so even though the actual deprecation of the 3 was pretty high, I figured it was really like losing less than 12k over 5 years and 65,000 miles. At least that's how the math in my brain worked when I pushed the blue buy now button.
