Nothing exciting, just says minor fixes from release note. Haven’t seen anyone post about it here.

Dang. I think the big things we are waiting for this year are
1. The new music from YouTube and minor stuff.
2. FSD of course and things that hopefully come with it like sensors etc.
3. PowerShare software for those of us with legacy gateways/powerwalls/chargers already.

We will have a heads up on AutoPilot/FSD when FSD 12.5 is released (the version that is supposed to support CT) THEN, we can start anticipating the software update everyone is waiting for.

12.5 of FSD has not yet been released to anyone outside of Tesla (yet).

my Y got 2024.20.1 but my X still hasn't updated! (that might be because it's currently at service, and therefore in service mode)

I noticed the tail gate starts to make some motor noise when I open and close it. Not sure if this is from the update or something is broken…

Elektrek.co reports that V12.4.3 is rolling out now, but the CT probably won't get it until V12.5 comes out (hopefully soon).

https://electrek.co/2024/07/10/tesla-v12-4-pushing-new-supervised-full-self-driving-update/
They are a little slow, I've had 12.4.3 in my Model 3 for awhile now and I have to tell you there is now a ghost in the machine or some sort of AI at work that wasn't there before.

Yesterday I navigated home and it always takes me just beyond my driveway and tells me I have arrived. I was about to take over manually and pull into my driveway when all of a sudden it starts driving some more up my street, turns around in the cul de sac, drives back down past my house, takes a left, then a right into another cul de sac, goes down that street and turns around, comes back up the street, turns left then right again in front of my house. I'd had enough at that point so I stopped it and took over. I'd never seen it do anything like that before.

Tonight I was maybe 5 miles from home, literally a straight shot so I turned on FSD and sat back and watched. It got about halfway home, the route plotted took me straight down the main street until it needs to make a turn to get into my neighborhood. That's what showed on the nav screen and is the correct route home. (fastest and most direct) The car comes up on an intersection and all of a sudden gets in the right most left turn lane but doesn't signal. I'm thinking oops it chose the wrong lane and when the light turns green it will try to go straight. Nope, light turns green and it starts turning left, half way through the turn it put on the turn signal for good measure. It completes the turn and is now driving west instead of north. The car drives all the way down about a mile to the next major intersection and then takes a right to head back north. Finally it gets to the street that runs east and west that it needs, turns right and works its way to my neighborhood and house. This was at night, virtually no traffic, no accidents up ahead on the main road, no road construction, nothing that would have prevented it from taking the straight and most direct route but instead it went off on a tangent on its own, eventually arriving at my house, but not by any course I plotted or anything that made sense.

So while I technically didn't have to intervene in either case (per Elon saying you might have to intervene once a year, etc. etc.) I certainly wanted to and should have in both cases when the car started driving with a mind of its own.

Ghost in the machine?

Is this issue repetitive? If not, I wonder if it's the timing of your air compressor turning on?

Yea, I tried a few times. Looks like an issue I need to add to the list of my service appt.

are we sure they havent done that yet? I hit 119 the other day, granted slight decline, but not much so I assumed it was released - just havent tested again yet.
