Our newest software version 2025.26 brings Grok AI to your cabin.*

Press and hold the voice button on your Tesla vehicle’s steering wheel and start talking. Ask Grok for news headlines, information on a topic you’re curious about or a story for your kids where they’re the main characters.

To enable, open App Launcher on your vehicle’s touchscreen and tap Grok.

Dalton says he doesn’t want AI in his CB, then immediately starts talking about wanting reliable FSD. Is anyone going to tell him? ?
Incorrect. ?

I just cancelled my ChatGPT subscription and will likely subscribe to Grok when it goes live on the truck. As for what I’ll do with it - anything and everything. Research clients and prospects, educate me on various industries and subject matters, maybe a little role playing before a meeting that I’m driving to. Hell - maybe I’ll just have Grok behave like the Guide Along app and tell me interesting facts about things around me.

There better be an option to opt out of full integration. The last thing I want is to have it replace my current voice commands.

AI will not ever be in any car or on any device that I own. So, that leaves 2 possibilities for my Teslas: (1) Opt out, or (2) bye-bye.

I guess staying on 2025.20.6 indefinitely is a third option, but that’s not tenable, so, I sure better see a fucking toggle. ?

I need ASS, dumb summon, reliable FSD, a better charging curve, HomeLink, functional auto-wipe, and a remapping of the suspension over bumps + rear wheel drive bias— all waaaaay before I need this culture-warrior AI trash ? in my CB! ?
Nearly every feature you just asked for is using AI.

@dalton108 can defend himself but I’m pretty sure what he’s been saying repeatedly is that he’s not opposed to AI, just the process and development being employed on Grok.

Maybe @Sarge23060 is alluding to the fact they are both AGi models?

What was I incorrect about?
“AI will not ever be in any car or on any device that I own. So, that leaves 2 possibilities for my Teslas: (1) Opt out, or (2) bye-bye…

…I need ASS, dumb summon, reliable FSD”

Yeah. Incongruent statement but apparently this thread has been edited significantly. He says as I understand it that he’s all for AI in general and actually owns some form of patent developing it, Just doesn’t like grok I think.
Based on that statement alone, no, you’re not wrong.

Low effort post gets low effort response. Look around a little bit and sort out where you’re wrong, or don’t.

Where you’re wrong is I didn’t say “AI”. And if you wish you can review the thread and you’ll find a full explanation of how my post was edited. I said “MH.”
