This Software Update is really strange… downloading for over one hour, go to 70% and for no reason starting again and again the same Circle. So far 3 times already. 🙈

I didn't notice it doing that but it did take a really long time. And your truck is running a high fever!

Is anyone else getting dry wiper swipes during FSD on this latest update? I never had them before.

My CT was under a cover so I do not know when downloading started and how long it took. I got the message from the Tesla App Thursday late evening it was available, meaning download completed. Clicked Yes on the Install Now question, and I went to sleep. Found the Tesla App message that install was completed Friday morning when I woke up. So don’t know how smooth everything went, but the result was OK.

Have not checked any of the new features yet, but drove this evening, using FSD the same route that I drive every Saturday evening. To my surprise it felt a lot more aggressive. Cornering speed felt higher, further forward at stop signs. It even did something I never had before: slowing down for a red light, but not enough to stop before or at the limit line, it just rolled over it. As if it was anticipating the coming green light.

See first 10 seconds from the dash cam video.
This was not an FSD update, how come the behavior changed?

No dry wipes on the 2x 20 minutes FSD drives. I had plenty of dry wipes when in FSD before, but during daytime. These two rides were in the evening, maybe that made a difference?

I get those dry swipes all the time in Florida. I have to remember to turn the wipers off every time I activate FSD.

I am. I used to get them all the time. They slowed down a few updates back. I drove on Friday about 2 hours and had 1 dry wipe the whole time. Updated Friday night and then Saturday morning I shut the auto wipers off during FSD after about 15 mins because it had already dry wiped about 10 times. I know this wasn’t supposed to be an update that changed that but it seems to have changed something for me. I leave for a 12 hour trip today so I will see if it does any better.

Was in and out of FSD a fair amount yesterday. Did not notice any dry wipes; did not need to utter "Wiper Off" which had become almost an unconscious action. Prob a first for me. And, weirdly for Pittsburgh, it hasn't rained in quite some time plus no manual windshield washing so front facing upper cam was likely covered with a fair amount of dust/pollen/dirt.
