Got my VIN this morning (02/23).
VIN: 0024xx
SoCal (Marina Del Rey delivery center). I ordered 12/12/23.

Called Tesla and they told me my CT is scheduled to arrive at Delivery Center 03/05. No delivery date set yet but they said they’d call me to schedule near it arriving.

Also got my VIN this morning, 23XX, also MDR. I ordered 12/15/23……71 days.

At a minimum, its by state for delivery efficiency, training Service Centers, likely some set of parts inventory and roll out of FSD/AP data.

I'm confused as to the fixation on order to vin date.
It's indeed been growing, that's because I don't think that they have finished delivering the first order date yet. So yes, it's going to grow.

It isn't as if there is historical flow of orders and deliveries yet.

Yep! I was at day 74 when I got my VIN (in DFW Texas area).
