I paid 1k on 30 may. Confirmed AT tires. Truck delivered 10 Aug with AS MS tires. Delivery guy said " it is what u got"" .. I wanted AT because I live 5 miles from beach. We can drive on beach in St Augustine. Good luck. I'll trade u if u get AT. And want MS

Wow less than 2 months. I'm going on 3 months and no VIN. They are not going by order date.

Hi

Changed my order from all season to all terrain on 8/4. Order change confirmation email 2 min after I updated config. Had a VIN ONE HOUR LATER. Just got my truck yesterday (8/20). I'll burn the AT tires off of it and then get the AS once they are more readily available.

I'm not sure what problem Tesla or Pirelli is having with the AS tire. But I'll tell you that I'm pretty happy with my choice.

Also, if it matters, I'm guessing that the AT is going to be an upgrade that you will have to pay for when the Foundation Series goes away. So, if you're getting the FS, get the most expensive one? That reasoning worked for me. But that won't apply to everyone for sure.

I can honestly say, I have never been more excited to own a vehicle....ever.

My guest they are going my locally to Austin, for quick delivery/revenue. Or could also be availability of truck lanes. We all know the delay has been availability of A/S tires, now supply is resolved Tesla has to work to backfill the holes and ensure “full truck loads”. I travel a lot and see “car haulers”, with “mixed brand” loads BUT never a Tesla mixed load, it’s always been full load Tesla branded products. Tesla probably has only 1-2 contracted haulers for whole country, at this time. Added to mix, small SC with little to no storage (Nashville, seems to be leasing a mall parking lot for storage, 100’s of Tesla cars), one reason SC have been so “aggressive” to take delivery in a few days before they move to next in line.

I think they are going by RN rather than order date which is bunk because most people have no intention to buy and sat on the invitation for a long time and/or are just sitting on VINs trying to decide when to cancel. Tesla needs to separate the serious buyers from the lookie lous.

RN number would be disaster having said mine is at RN1155x....
