Funny feeling that ANC might have been a feature(Cyber scallops) they installed later(after FS) Has anyone with a FS gotten ANC? I'm on 2026.2.9.1 and no ANC.

FWIW, the EPC only lists two types of seats: Textile (for the RWD/AWD) and vinyl...sorry, vegan leather haha!!.

I'm hoping that means all non-textile seats (including FS) have the ANC hardware.

I'm hoping it's a phased rolled as well. Just looked in the service menu wiring diagram and it does show the connectors for a left and right microphone

Cannot find anc anywhere in the menu and grock says he can't adjust controls right after he asked me if I wanted to lower the air conditioning. Grok is on drugs

Yeah, I can feel the bracket in the seat and the tiny holes, but who knows if there's a "scallop" in there? I would certainly think so.

I don't have the ANC option, but I'm still on downlevel firmware.

I can also feel the hardened round objects and I just received 2026.2.9.1 but no ANC option. Rebooted and not there. Build is Dual Motor Oct 2024.

See above comment about a boring video...what are scallops, or hardened round objects, and how do they have anything to do with ANC? (where supposedly the microphone is in the headset), and how do those "scallops" change/not change with the new software update?

The area circled in red is the bracket for the ANC microphone(s). I can feel it through the cover in my truck, including the mic openings ("hard round objects").

The module itself is called the scallop, because that's what Tesla embossed on the cover.

Yeah, may bad, I got caught up in the endless monotone description of how the Cybertruck's seats were made at the beginning of that video and just zoned out...I thought everyone was talking about something in the actual seats and not the headrest...
