Quick update for those wondering on real world range. A Memphis Tesla advisor had a great suggestion so I took him up on it. Scheduled 30 minute demo and took the AWD to Supercharger and charged to 100% from Tesla Memphis to hospital it was 171 miles with navigation estimating 35% (112 miles) remaining using my exact route. If the CT AWD navigation is somewhat accurate I should have plenty remaining for my actual starting point in Oxford (77 miles) from Tesla Memphis. Throw in some high winds or unexpected weather and likely arrive with 20 miles remaining on a full charge of 325 miles. Anyone charge to 100% at least twice per week? How bad could it be on battery life? It doesn't bother my 2023 R1T max pack with AT tires. I've had 369 miles for the past 12-18 months
it will degrade over time. I have the beast, brand new it was something like 310 miles at a full charge. Today with 73k miles driven my max is 288. Just saying eventually you will loose that 20 mile buffer and need to stop for a few minutes. If you do decided to get one, it would be better for the truck to just get used to stopping for top ups and only charge to the 80% recommended to preserve that battery. When you use the navigation it will tell you where you have to stop and for how long, I’d guess stops would be only 5-10 mins to continue your trip. Assuming that you can charge back up at your destination while you’re working / sleeping at home. I did charge to 100% when I was doing ride share. And now that my PCS is broken I cannot charge at home so I been charging to 95 every 3-4 days.

I schedule charging to 100% before every road trip that requires charging. Three hours above 80% (2 charging, 1 driving) isn't going to impact battery life significantly and it gets the pack warmer in winter.

Assuming max range and efficiency I will need to order AWD premium with core wheels and all season tires? Anyone know a better option for longer range? Going to miss my BFG KO3 AT on the R1T and several of my Toyotas. Best tire for CT for range and rain conditions?

Making the move back to Tesla for FSD, safety and performance.

I have a 26 awd premium, all seasons and core wheels. The predicted range is pretty darn accurate given you precondition and it’s not freezing outside.

Thanks for the message. It's frustrating they will no longer do the 24-48hrs demos. I just want to confirm I can make the 250 mile one way commute with at least 20-30 miles remaining upon arrival. My 22 Model Y LR (333 miles) nor the 2023 X LR (350 miles) wouldn't consistently make it. If you park it all day with less than 10 miles you risk phantom draining to zero even with Sentry turned off.

Have you tried your 100% (325 miles) on a road trip to see how many you could drive before charging around 10% or less? I really don't want to stop for 15 minutes for a quick charge four times each week just for work and the return trip home. I'm assuming the batteries are much more efficient with accurate range estimates than 2023 Teslas?

I drive the speed limits so most of the miles would be 55-65mph with the last 100 miles on the interstate going 70mph. That's the stretch that kills the battery because of high winds and the 70mph required to keep up.

If I remember correctly I have done 250-260 miles from 100% , I think I got home with 5-8%. All at 70+ mph , ac all the way.

I vote beast neither of the trims will make the full trip without a stop and the 20-30miles difference in reality is not noticeable.
