Has anyone installed a backup beeper? CT is SO quiet, people behind me don't know I'm backing up. I want to install something. I had my CT in the shop yesterday to fix a faulty docking charger and asked. I assume I'd connect it to the reverse lights, and all the lights are 48V. Any thoughts?

Pedestrian Warning System
The Pedestrian Warning System causes Cybertruck to emit sound when driving below approximately 25 mph (40 km/h)or while driving in reverse. Electric vehicles operate quietly and this sound helps to alert pedestrians of your oncoming vehicle. The sound, which activates whenever Cybertruck is shifted out of Park, gets louder as speed increases.

Warning
If sound cannot be heard, pedestrians may not be aware of your oncoming vehicle, which may increase the likelihood of a collision resulting in serious injury or death. Never rely on the Pedestrian Warning System to make sure that pedestrians are aware of your vehicle. If the Pedestrian Warning System is not operating, schedule a service appointment.

I think the user is saying that the normal 'EV moving' sounds aren't all that noticable by pedestrians these days, especially for the elderly or in a noisy environment... Hearing that 'hummmmm' sound doesn't make you LOOK... There should be a SEPARATE sound for backing up, and it could be customizable OR just the standard "beep, beep, beep" sound would be good too and it needs to come from the BACK of the vehicles, not the front speaker...

I tested the Pedestrian Warning System, and for us elderly heard of hearing types, that is not nearly load enough. It is not getting anyone's attention. So I'm looking into adding a loud one, and if anyone can help, please advise.

Sounds like a needed fix before ,,'more' pedestrians are run down... Only Tesla knows how many ped collisions have occurred. 2 is too many... Will fsd on reverse ever show up?
