Im 6"4 tall, one of my biggest gripes about the CT is the lack of room, i know lol. I wish it was that 10% larger as the prototypes.

What could change its use for me is to allow cabin sleeping, if a company could come up with an entire seat re-design that would allow the front passenger seat to fold down 90* parallel to the back seat allowing a taller individual to setup a sleeping pad situation.

This is the best I could get AI to produce, it started with a real cyber truck interior and morphed so forgive ai lol

The issue with the fold flat front seat is the width of the seat, unless youre a back sleeper. Not sure exactly how far back the sears currently go, but i wonder if theres a way to get them to go back further, esp of you fold the rear seats up… then like some sort of calf pad you can put down in the foot wells.

Some have removed the front passenger seat and then folded up the rear jump seat. This makes for a large flat area that can be used for sleeping.

I use a Mars Roof Top Tent on a Urander roof rack on an IKamper 4 inch mattress. But before that I’ve slept in the cab and even at only 6 foot tall sleeping in the cab on the seats is sub-optimal. I also have the inflatable mattress for the back seat and that was better than just sleeping on the seats but still I couldn’t get comfortable. I’m a Marine Corps veteran and my time-in ruined my ability to sleep soundly so I appreciate getting a good rest when possible.

Only 4 bolts and a wire to be able to take out the passenger seat, you can then fold up the rear seat.

If Tesla had simply put in the midgate this issue, and many others would have been solved.

I’m 6’5” as well. I was wondering myself of having the seats taken out and custom made to lay flat. Not sure why but Tesla should’ve made it so the seats laid flat. With the backseat up and the seats laying flat tesla could incorporated entire sleeping area.

6'4" here as well. I tried a 30"x60" memory foam mattress on the floor in the back. No bueno. Might try taking out the passenger seat next time.

Any reviews on the cybergearco air mattress? Looks like a better option.

I've been shopping for this mattress for about two months, trying to get more detailed info on how comfortable it is to sleep in it and whether the 2 inflatable supports keep you from sagging. But there isn't much in the reviews out there, so I decided to just buy it and try it.

During my research, I found two other companies selling what appears to be the same thing. Teshlaunch has at least a couple of videos on its website. https://teslaunch.net/products/infl...K49Tg_aMwiiREr8abGEIwkWi3Qd12G9BoCUvwQAvD_BwE

Just took a glance at the passenger seat. Do you just remove these four bolts? Looks like there's a plastic console box that's attached to the floor that won't come out with the seat.

Anyone have pics of the passenger seat removed?

I totally agree with you. I haven't seen any reviews with this universal rear seat mattress, though.

Have you tried one of these?
I have not, have not had a need for one yet, will in the fall.

I suggest the hest sleeping pad memory foam, that’s what I’ll be trying to sleep on in this situation evolving
