Ok yes, I'm the idiot and I'm pretty embarrassed. I got a notification last night that it was time to configure my NON-FOUNDATION Cybertruck. It showed the price of the non-foundation all wheel drive CT as $79,990. I THOUGHT I selected that one as I went through the process on the app. But at the end it showed an order for the Cyberbeast. I backtracked and went all through the app and tried this online with my account as well. Bottom line: I can't seem to change my order from the Cyberbeast to the All Wheel Drive. I left a message with Tesla but my guess is I won't hear from them or be able to talk with someone over there until Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday.) Does anyone have a suggestion? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? (Think "Ferris Bueller's Day Off.")

They’ll get back to you over the weekend and should be able to update the configuration. Hold on doing financing and stuff in the app to save time as it will most likely have to change when they update the config

You’ll be fine. I’m not sure they’re closed on Columbus Day anyway. If they are they’ll get back to you. You simply made a mistake with regard to the trim that you intended to purchase.

My wife accidentally ordered a Model S when she meant to order an X. They got her straightened out and they’ll get you straightened out too.

They’re not trying to trick you into buying the wrong car.

I don't get it. The Tri-motor beast is All Wheel Drive...
Both trucks are all-wheel-drive. The typical nomenclature that has been adopted is: all wheel drive v. Cyberbeast. I’m pretty sure that’s because if you look at the order forms on Tesla‘s website that’s how they named.

Ah i see, my mistake. Now I understand what has been confusing me when people talk about AWD vs Cyberbeast!

Thanks so much for your input you guys. You were all correct. I wasn’t able to reach Tesla on the phone and I wasn’t able to reach them by texting through the app so I went to the dealership today. The guy told me he would escalate the matter to the higher-ups and that I would get an email in 24 hours. He also said it might take a month or two to straighten this out. To my surprise when I checked the app a few hours later, everything was fixed and now I have an order for the AWD. I have a vin number and everything! So I’m guessing maybe it’ll be ready for delivery in 45 to 60 days? Thanks again y’all!

If you have a VIN, it may be as little as two weeks away (not joking).

With a VIN you are 2-3 weeks away.

Which is a bummer for an impatient person like me who ordered right away and was told potentially another week delay. Annoying.

Wow, that would be awesome but I'm going to TRY to manage my expectations. (I didn't think mine would come in until mid 2025. Thanks again for your input (everyone) and I'll keep you posted!
