Android Frunk unlock?

Anyone get there drunk to open with their android? Thought I saw it released update months ago...

It works, your phone has to be capable. I know some pixels (up to Pixel 7) and other phones don't have the proper hardware to use it.

Your phone needs UWB (ultra wide band) capability. Then you need to enable it
Settings -> connections

Then Security->Phone Key->Upgrade in the app (one time thing, not a setting)
Finally, in the truck: Controls > Locks > Hands-Free Frunk

Yes on S23+ forward, but not on an S23 for example, it does not have UWB

It works well on my Pixel 8, but I think I actually find it more annoying than useful. Every time I go to wipe bugs off the front of the truck, it opens on me and you can't stop it. And, then, when I want to put something in the frunk I don't want to wait for the 3 bongs and delay while I'm carrying whatever I'm carrying.

I'm sure it's convenient for something, but I'm probably going to disable it.

Yeah, base versions don't have it, but Plus and Ultra since S21 do, as do the Note 20 Ultra and Z Fold 2 onward.
