I commute between a couple locations often. I often need to haul food, supplies, clothing, etc. from one location to another. It's about 2 hours, the last couple miles are gravel and I can't really put anything in the bed unless it's in containers or it's massively dust covered when I arrive. Other than putting everything in bins, are there any other solutions to keep things clean? The frunk and 'sub vault' work well but don't hold enough. Ends up with me loading everything into the cab which doesn't work with passengers. Thanks,

I did this, I am currently in a very dusty environment and I keep tools and parts in the vault. I had the dust issue and had to meticulously clean all my tools. So far, since the stripping install, the vault has stayed clean. I just don't know how long the stripping will last in hot and cold extremes. It's cheap and easy enough to give it a go on your vault.

No. Bottom line. Mine leaks water. And is full of dirt. I live on dirt road.

I tried the weather stripping. Still got some dust inside. (I have almost 3 miles of gravel road to my house.)

I got a bed mat. None are long enough to ride up on the tailgate, but most do come right up to it.

I bought this tailgate seal

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MX6899T?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

and used only one of the adhesive sides and put it on the tailgate itself. The bed mat then lies over the forward end of this tape. The forward end of the tape will slide as the tailgate opens/closes and the bed mat stays over it.

So far, almost no dust. Not dust proof, but almost.

It's still easy to get into the smuggler's box.

You would need to fab up a panel between the tonneau and the tailgate and seal it as best you can otherwise, but positive pressure works. It is only thing that will actually keep dust out of a camper or trailer. Maybe a mount on the aeroflap. A similar thing is used on Australian campers. Seals will only get you so far.
