I have some business needs that leave me contemplating trying to buy a used Cybertruck sooner rather than later.

I know there is potential punishment for sellers of Cybertruck before they’ve held them for one year. However, are there any concerns for *buyers* of used Cybertruck? I love my Teslas and I wouldn’t want to get myself in trouble.

No lawyer, but you had no contract with Tesla on the first sale. Resale is between you and the seller, who presumably legally purchased the vehicle. Any obligation or liability they may incur with Tesla subsequent to the purchase agreement they executed with Tesla is between them and Tesla and should have zero to do with you. As long as they have clean, conveyable, title then you should be good.

Only consideration is that you'd effectively "lose" the $2,500 Powershare credit which gets issued to the original owner if that matters to you, you can also adjust for this in your price negotiation.
