I’m looking at a 2024 cyberbeast tomorrow with a 19xxx VIN. Are there common quality control issues for these early ones that I should ask about or look for in general? The price difference between this (it has fsd) and new is 20-25k, what would you do?

Can you provide us with the miles showing on the FS Beast?

Panel recalls, lightbar recalls, a few odds and ends but nothing terminal. Coming from 10,nnn VIN (May 2024 delivery). I wouldn’t sweat it if still under warranty.

If like-for-like and you can truly get a new one for $20k more with FSD, I’d go new. $30k+ difference? Less clear. Many of us paid $119k and see used market for 2024 FS CB <30k miles currently hovering around $85k.

If you plan to keep it post warranty, buy the newest with the longest warranty you can afford. There some lingering unresolved issues as well like annoying sounds no one can figure out, bricking up and not charging right after 50k warranty expiration. Go back to old threads, there is a wealth of information to help you decide.
Is ESA warranty available for $120-150/month for an additional 2 years like it is for my plaid?

The hope is at year 4, the Tesla issued extended warranty goes live. For people hitting their miles before the four years, it is a bit of a scary time.

I am a CB with a VIN that is 10k lower than the one you are looking at, no issues so far. But there's been enough issues on other trucks I will have a decision to make if Tesla doesn't offer an extended warranty in the next 2 years.
