Any Tactical Grey VINs yet?

I really hope Grey starts soon.. my impatience may lead to a change to white.. which isn't a problem since my other three have white interior. I just like how the grey fits with the mostly black interior.

I thought the same as you. I just decided to stick with white because I didnt want to wait and I was tired of waiting. Turns out it looks amazing. I am really glad that I kept the white.

Thanks! I have never driven ATT. Only road tires on my cars (only owned a single cab Toyota 4-speed in the 90s), so I don’t have much experience with ATT. Do they ride on the road well?

If you didn't know that the existing tires were all-terrain, you really couldn't tell.

Most all-terrain (AT) tires start to have drawbacks vs all-weather (AW). AT tires often start to sing or make a loud noise as you drive on them. If these ATs do, then no one has complained about it yet.

Except for maybe northern winter conditions, I don't think that there will be a hug differential between the AT and AW tires. The AW may get 20 more miles of range, but that's most irrelevant to EV drivers past the range anxiety stage.

At this point, I feel that the selection is easy. Is different tires and the grey trim really big issues for you? I mean is it worth a 3 month delay in delivery?
If not, go with the standard options and get your Cybertruck a LOT earlier.

I though the same, and had the Grey been an option when I configured 03/15, I 100% would've picked Grey.

In fact, I was looking at how much ordering Grey panels to retrofit my CT were going to cost, haha!!

But now that I have the white, I love it. It's a nice pop next to the grey/black/Alcantara interior.

I originally ordered the tactical grey AWD on May 24th and last night changed it to White Decor and got a VIN early this morning!!!

Looks like - if you want to delay the delivery - just change to tactical gray and when ready to take delivery change back to white.

I may do that after our move next month

ps : Ordered Gray in May. Still waiting for the first gray to be delivered.

You indicate a AWD, you mention Alcantara. If I'm not mistaken, Alcantara is only in the Beast. At least I know that the dash covering is NOT Alcantara in the AWD but is in the Beast.
It's one of the few ways that you can tell the difference, excluding badging.

Right, no Alcantara on the dash, but there's Alcantara on the A pillars that run down to the dash, and on the roof (ceiling?) where the interior lights are, and on the sun visors.

The white is a nice contrast to all that.

Just throwing in my situation to the mix. Ordered March 19 and switched day of Gray announcement. Couldn't do it in the app so I called Tesla and got it switched. They said I didn't have a VIN so I was early enough to make the switch. End of May I got VIN and noticed they switched my order back to White. I called and they were confused as well. Told me not to worry switched it back and went back to my daily checking for VIN until I got the same VIN and truck pushed to my account a few days later. I called and they were co fused as to what was going on. Told me not to worry, the will take care of it. Kept getting the texts telling me to schedule delivery until I got the text saying your order is now on hold until 10-1. I wasn't getting response from my replies to the texts and finally got through to customer service again and they told me not to worry, no Gray's expected to be built until July. Call back every week and when they have the ability to put me back in line they will. So now I'm waiting in purgatory.

What does your details section in your app state? If it states grey decor you are fine.

So on main page it has like a yellow triangle with an ! In it and adjacent to that says, "Your delivery is on hold. Let us know if things have changed and you are now ready for delivery."

Vehicle details shows tac gray and foundation series like it did before.

For those with the white..... how hard is it to keep clean? I use my trucks in dirty, grimy environments and have kids... My biggest concern is it looking dingy in 2-4 years.

Shouldn't be an issue, it's the same material they use on the seats in other Tesla models. Plenty of youtube videos showing durability. It's the reason I went with it to go ahead and get the truck sooner. I have three young boys and work in the steel industry, plenty of options to test the toughness and I'm not really concerned about it.

How did you get the VIN? In the insurance tab or on Vehicle Details under the RN?
