I picked up my CT on Saturday. So far I'm loving it. I'm not loving the 2025.14.300 firmware that's on it. I'm about to go on a week long work trip in it and I'd like to have it on 2025.26.4 for Grok, etc.

I understand that new vehicles aren't put into the upgrade queue immediately so new owners aren't overwhelmed. Has anyone had success getting their new vehicle updated earlier by calling support or anything like that? Thanks!

Too late now, but I insisted that the Service Center push the latest software build onto my truck before delivery.
They had no problem doing that.
The next update arrived via WiFi in my garage about three weeks later.

I didn't realize it was an issue then. I figured I'd put it on advanced, hit check and it would find it. I do have to take it in for service (caught a lug nut on the interstate and cracked the windshield at the top on day 2 of owning it) so maybe I can get them to do it then if it hasn't started updating.

Sounds like my kind of luck 🤦‍♂️

It takes a while to get your first firmware update most likely because it wants to give it time to establish where your trucks home base is going to be. Firmware is pushed out in regions, with a crazy amount of metrics to determine when you get the latest and greatest. And they do this for a variety of reasons, one of them being that they have contingencies in place in the event an really bad bug is discovered in the fleet, and they want to be able to rapidly recover.

Make sure you change the software update preference to ADVANCED!
