Anyone have a recommendation on a Screen Swivel?

I hate when people try to talk an OP out of a mod they are genuinely trying to get help with, but I totally agree with this.
I’ve watched the installation videos and could never get excited about changing what is arguably the most important connector in the cabin for a dinky little usb-c that moves.
Plus, one other point, my under-screen storage tray is possibly the most useful thing I have installed in my truck ever.
I even added lights to it on another thread and I literally use it every time I get in the car. I would not give it up for a screen swivel.

Just sharing my opinion as it is a mod ive considered myself but decided against for the reason i listed.

Didn’t mean to be critical sounding there. I joined right in with that argument and I made the same decision myself for similar reasons after considering it.
I’m hearing so many positives here though from people whose opinion I respect, that I wonder if I jumped to the wrong conclusions about this mod.

No RPM did not have the swivel at the time. I got mine from ANYSIX (I believe one of the first vendors) They subsequently sent me the improved cable. I have bought from RPM before and they seem good about answering questions. I would ask them if the cable has the clip lock.

I see, I went and looked at the Anysix one and as mentioned it looks like all the others. I ordered it, thanks for the feedback. I'll find out when it arrives if it has the new cable and contact them if not.

So just a quick update - I watched the install video on RPM Tesla website for the mount, it clearly shows the updated cable in the install video, so I'm assuming it does have it.

just not sure the “ 3rd party Chinese” really care specifically about how many wh/mi you personally get or what your favorite iTunes playlist is

With some other accessories that may be a concern, with this the only thing remotely electronic is a probably 1 ft USB cable extender, everything else is just brackets, screws and plastic.

I also bought it from Anysix when it was first released, they were very responsive here on the forum. I think they were a week on the market before any of the others. Like I said earlier I've looked at the parts of all the kits and its the same kit.

It is nice to have it facing you but it would be nice if it was raised an inch instead of lowered an inch.

That’s all that’s needed. There are iPhone charging cords that can hack phones.
