Anyone have experience wrapping vehicles? Vinyl cost?

I plan on WD40 all over my truck every other day.

That is a LOT of WD40. Might there not be a cheaper solution (no pun intended) that works as well?

I bought the PPF (vinyl) protectors for my MYLR and followed the soapy-water instructions. These go on the rear doors and are basketball sized. When they are wet they slide around pretty easily (too easily) and are hard to align with edges, so I had to start over a couple times, but once they were on I had no problem with air bubbles. They go through the car wash every week and have held up very well. I would not want to do a whole car or even a whole panel but I do not intend to. I have mentioned before that I got a couple emblems I will attach and they are 24" diameter. I think I can handle that.
