I was driving right into the setting sun. The sun was below the sunshades and I shielded my eyes first with a baseball cap and finally with both the cap and my hands. I was getting a flashing blue warning about every 3-4 minutes. I would grab the wheel and shake and get another couple of minutes of reprieve.

It would be nice if FSD could handle this situation without the harassment.
The cap is the issue. It blocks the camera’s view of your eyes.

I’m using the the default red color at moderate intensity. Is there a better color to try?
Ah, maybe we have a lede! Red LEDs dip into the infrared spectrum, so try to turn it off completely as well as different colors to see if you have any discernible difference.

That’s actually a great idea. I didn’t think of that.!!!! it may be interfering. Brilliant! Let’s hope it works.

Had issues with the light strip on, turning it off seemed to fix it, which is a bummer because the ambient lighting looks really cool. So I turn off the light when using FSD on highway, and turn it back on when driving in town when I am doing the driving.
