The cap is the issue. It blocks the camera’s view of your eyes.I was driving right into the setting sun. The sun was below the sunshades and I shielded my eyes first with a baseball cap and finally with both the cap and my hands. I was getting a flashing blue warning about every 3-4 minutes. I would grab the wheel and shake and get another couple of minutes of reprieve.
It would be nice if FSD could handle this situation without the harassment.
Ah, maybe we have a lede! Red LEDs dip into the infrared spectrum, so try to turn it off completely as well as different colors to see if you have any discernible difference.I’m using the the default red color at moderate intensity. Is there a better color to try?
I use red ambient and my FSD works fine at night as long as I’m not wearing a cap. That’s actually a great idea. I didn’t think of that.!!!! it may be interfering. Brilliant! Let’s hope it works.
