Any chance your windows are tinted dark? Mine are, including front windshield and noticed sometimes at night, I get the notification to nudge the steering wheel with fsd more often. Think it might be due to the limited street lights entering the windows because during the day I don’t have many issues with it.

No they are not tinted - just stock. I was on the highway so it was lit by normal highway lighting and other cars

If it's a light issue, I'd consider manually turning up the brightness of the center display. That might add just enough ambient to your face for the cam to resolve your eyes.

I'll give it a try, can't hurt. I think I have it set on auto

If you turn on one side of the interior light it provides enough light for the FSD camera to operate.

I'll try this too and see if anything changes.

Back in February I drove from Maryland to Arizona on a five day journey almost all of it using FSD (Supervised) wearing sunglasses. I got a few nags back then but obliged. On a return trip in April I couldn't go more than five to ten minutes without being nagged, 'attention montioring unavailable' wiggle the sterring wheel. It was the same truck, same me, same sunglasses. I tried a pair of sunglasses with a lighter tint but still no go, 'attention monitoring unavailable' grab the sterring wheel. The big difference was an FSD update and a couple of general software updates. FSD (Supervised) is unusable to me now. Within minutes of mashing the FSD button I get the 'attention monitoring unavailable' message. I wear sunglasses because the harsh light bothers my vision, and therefore I cannot use FSD (Supervised) any more. Big disappointment.

FSD still works without attention monitoring. You’re just kicked back into the old system where you have to apply slight pressure to the wheel. Some people actually prefer it.

True, but I guess the point I am making is this is a regression and at this rate FSD (Unsupervised) can't come soon enough (if it makes it to the Cybertruck at all).
