Is anyone having audio issues? The dash speakers were the only speakers that worked when I took delivery. The problem randomly resolved itself one day after the truck slept overnight. A handful of days later the same thing happened in reverse, where the audio quit working again overnight. I'm on the latest software version (set to Advanced updates) and have a service appointment coming up, but figured I would see if anyone else had a similar issue and what the resolution was.
I'm having audio issues as well. My back speakers sound like :poop: they have a staticky crackling tinfoil sound. I'll post a video shortly. It's more noticeable with songs that have a lot of treble. Some songs I can barely hear it and others its unbearable.

I've have removed the car seats and the flux capacitor and determined that they are not causing the issue before anyone asks lol.

Strange. I had the truck in the shop last week for my audio issue. I think they just unplugged the mid-voltage and plugged it back in again. The repair notes said "will be fixed in a future software update", but it was working when I picked up the truck. I guess if it quits working again I'll just do the mid-voltage reset myself, as it looks easy enough.

Did you ever get it resolved? I've had my Cybertruck for about a week and just today it started doing the exact same thing as you describe. It sounded great and then it sounds like my first car with an am radio and one speaker. Just the front speakers are working now. Rebooted the truck with no luck.

The truck's audio system did this twice to me, and both times I took it in for service. I think they performed a mid-voltage disconnect, to completely reset the system. Told me it would be fixed in a future software update. It's been working fine for months now after the second reset.

Did you ever get your rear speaker 'staticky crackling tinfoil sound' resolved?

One of my front speakers has been having this same issue since JUNE! they/we cannot pinpoint which one? BUT is has been in five times since then and they keep telling me they run a TASCAM frequency test on all of the speakers and that they are all good. Issue they are not, one (or more) of the front speakers has that "staticky crackling tinfoil sound" like a blown speaker...and I have had the service manager and multiple service people come out and listen to AND confirm they can hear (anyone that's been in the truck can hear it). Yet, they claim when they test it, the speakers are OK. Seems like they need to open the dash up and take a physical look vs, using a piece of software, since anyone who listens can hear it. It's been super frustrating. has anyone else had this sort of issue?

If you run a frequency sweep from YouTube do you hear the distortion? I don't know what a TASCAM frequency test is, but it might be the same/similar test. If you can find the frequency to reproduce it, you can probably find an audio clip on YouTube for that specific frequency. Then play that frequency and put your ear close to each speaker until you find which one it is? Or maybe cover up the speakers with something leaving one uncovered?

I took delivery last week. CT was built in April '25. About half the speakers are not working. Going in to the SC this week. Were there any log messages pertaining to VC left? I'm not seeing any.

Had same problem. They ended up replacing my main computer and that fixed it.

Took mine in to service today for some speakers not working. Service notes state a hard reset was performed and fixed the problem. I was not able to talk to the guy that did the work but I imagine he pulled the fireman’s loop and disconnected the 48v as described by someone else on here since I had already tried resetting using the power off button.

The same speakers went out again. CT is sitting at the SC waiting for parts. It has been diagnosed as an Etherloop error from internal VCFront. The service manager said something about a short in the wire harness. They are hoping this fix also takes care of the vehicle not going to sleep.

Man your service center is great. Mine says my speaker issue is "a characteristic of the vehicle."

Next appointment will be 120 miles away to see if another center gives enough of af to fix mine.

Best of luck with yours!

Definitely try another service center no matter the distance. I had a bad experience with tech and service manager incompetence at the Austin SC on St. Elmo Rd with my new MS. The SC I use in Tucson has been great.
