I’ve had my Beast since May and my stereo volume was amazing and veryloud. Now after however many updates, Tesla obviously lowered the volume. Once I turn it up over 75% of the slider on the screen, it doesn’t change at all. I don’t listen to super loud music but it’s about half the volume it used to be. Anyone else have this issue?

Please update us here when you get results.

The thought occurs to me to suggest reseting the infotainment computer by holding the two scroll wheels on the steering squircle until the screen goes black. Like a lot of Tesla's, I've experienced "gremlins" that solved themselves with a reset. Also, letting the truck "sleep" can fix some gremlins. IE: my dash rgb strip stopped working. I have a service ticket with Tesla, but I came out the morning after the light shut off and I had reset the previous day; light was on and cycling thru colors......

Good luck and please keep us posted!

Great idea. I tried it and still the same though. I don’t really need the volume any louder. It’s just weird they lowered it. Maybe people were blowing speakers lol.

Personally I haven't noticed a change in cab speaker volume. The external speakers are ridiculously quiet compared to other Teslas.
I just discovered recently, but you can up the external volume when music is playing... you have to use the onscreen volume slider but it's pretty loud at max volume.

I have not noticed this. Mabye I just increase the vol at the level that I desire. I have an issue with the music vol not reducing when the text message is being 'read' to me.

If you have the issue where the music sounds like it is only coming from the front dash and no/low subwoofer, then a few of us have had this problem, including me.

Here is the thread with remedies:
Please help! CODE BLUE! My Cybertruck's audio system isn't working properly :( | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - News, Discussions, Community - Cybertruckownersclub.com

If it is a different issue than this, I would recommend a service request.

It may be a bug. I'm experiencing something similar since my last update. You know how the volume lowers when you open a door? Mine does that, like everyone else's does, but then it doesn't go back up. So I have to turn the volume up, however, the slider is where it was originally. Meaning my total available volume is now lower. What's even weirder, it resets itself randomly back to normal.

The stereo sounds ridiculously good when you get the front/rear balance dialed in, and it goes ridiculously loud too (while still sounding clear and relatively undistorted). If you want to retain your hearing as you age, don't listen at full volume, hearing damage is cumulative over the years.

I've never had a car stereo that made the interior of a vehicle sound like a concert hall before. I think the shape of the Cybertruck's acoustical space is very complimentary to designing a great sounding stereo. Those of you with legacy pickups will know exactly what I'm talking about. They sound like you're sitting inside a small steel box.

This is the way my stereo sounded until the past few updates. It’s much quieter now. I’ll go back thru the settings but I don’t see any issues on balance or fade, etc.

Do you have the Caraoke module plugged in to the USB by chance?

I had the exact same issue and when I unplugged the Caraoke module, it solved the problem. The module when plugged in also seemed to introduce static into the audio at times, but it definitely stopped the volume from adjusting past 75% or so even though the slider would continue to move.
