Hello all, I just took delivery today of my dual motor Cybertruck and it's phenomenal (ordered feb 24th) and a topic I've tried to find a definite answer for a long time on is auto washes. It just rained today and I get free touchless washes at a place, but I have mixed signals on whether it's fine or not.
For longevity of the stainless steel is the alkaline/acidic soap touchless washes use fine for ct? Claude says the passivation layer should take it and regenerate almost immediately so theres no damage since its a brief exposure. And I have read people in here said they used a touchless wash on their 2024 for the last 2 years with no issue but it may be one that uses neutral soap, I don't know. And some say it's terrible for the stainless especially for very long term ownershio.
Is there a truth anyone just has for me about this?
