Agree, fidelity meaning exactness is hardly high with park assist, if anything it is less and blurry, and just a rough estimate. High fidelity for parking assist would be with ultrasonics like many cars have that tell you with your 6" from something, 3", etc. much more exact.

In the music world it seems that high fidelity would mean pure, exact digital replication... vinyl technology would have been the opposite with old tech to write/read it.

You should delve into the audio quality issue. It is far more complex than you seem to imagine. Recordings are collaborations by artists and sound engineers working to capture and produce the best performance reproduction for the listener. It includes acoustics, placement of microphones and the specification profiles of all pieces of equipment involved mixed and balanced to match the artists' perceptions. The end result is a separate work of art from the raw performance which you can hear the way the artist wished for you too from the equipment used. Sticking some microphones in the midst of a performance and capturing so-called lossless digital doesn't come close.

I received the Autopark update three days ago, and it seems to work pretty well in 95% of situations. I've used it about 20 times so far.

The autopark works great for me! Though I'd like it to be able to park front in as a option.

One day left for them to roll out FSD or miss yet another deadline "by the end of September."

Egg is on Tesla's public face though for still having FSD not out after all the years of Cybertruck development...
