Avoid EVANNEX – Lost Package, Claim Paid, Still No Refund

My Cybertruck accessory order was lost in transit. UPS completed the investigation and paid the claim. EVANNEX confirmed that I was eligible for either a replacement or a refund.

I chose a refund immediately.

Days later, I am still waiting for the refund with no resolution.

I understand shipping companies lose packages. That's not the issue. The issue is how a company handles the situation after the package is confirmed lost and the claim is paid.

Based on my experience so far, I would think twice before ordering from EVANNEX.

If you're considering buying from them, be aware that customer support and refund handling may not meet your expectations when something goes wrong.

It's been 2 months since the order date, btw.

Update (3 months later):

Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten worse.

After I requested a refund, EVANNEX stopped responding to my emails for approximately three months, despite multiple follow-up messages.

With no refund and no meaningful communication, I eventually filed a Mastercard chargeback.

Rather than accepting the chargeback or refunding me, EVANNEX actively disputed it.

Only after I escalated the matter—filing complaints with the BBB and the Florida Attorney General and continuing to pursue the chargeback—did EVANNEX finally respond.

Their latest position is that they are "more than willing" to refund me, but only if I first close the chargeback.

From my perspective, that's not a reasonable request. I waited approximately three months after requesting a refund, received no meaningful response during that time, and only started hearing back after initiating the chargeback and escalating the issue. I don't feel comfortable giving up the protections provided by my credit card before the refund has actually been processed.

I'm sharing this update so others know what happened after my original post. I hope the situation is eventually resolved, but the process has been far more difficult than it should have been for a package that UPS had already confirmed was lost.

I'll continue to update this thread if anything changes.

Yea continues with the chargeback eventually you will get your money a garentee you’ll get it vs more shady shenanigans. That’s what I’d do anyway.
