Over the weekend I shredded my Cybertruck out on the sand dunes. On one of my first runs, I shelved the truck on the top of a dune, with front driver's tire dangling in the air. I quick tug from a nearby Bronco got me out, no problem. Normal day on the dunes!
Immediately afterwards, my front differential wouldn't lock, and it remained unusable for quite some time. It was completely greyed out on my display, even after 100+ miles of additional driving (on road).
There were are no errors in service mode. The truck did NOT report an unknown differential position. There was no differential error in off-road mode.
Here's the solution:

Here's the solution:
- Go into off road mode
- Drive in circles - several times
- Drive straight for 100-200ft
- Drive left and right (lock to lock) several times in a row
- Do these again but mix it up (circle right, then left & right a few times, another u-turn, drive straight, etc.)
- Park the truck and reboot.
