I absolutely love my Beast(non FS). I went from a long range 2021 Model Y to the Beast, best decision ever!

Given same tires, the ride is the same right? I know that Beast has much better aceleration. Does the torque vectoring make much difference around corners?

The Beast is much faster, but that's about the only difference for most people.

I found it louder in the cabin and obviously it has worse efficiency/range.

It is MUCH faster, though.

Relatively big decision.
Drive them both
Make your decision

Other than neck snapping speed on tap, there's really not much difference - though some have mentioned more motor noise from front (seems to be used more for normal propulsion, but I've not verified this)

Other than the neck snapping speed on tap....? Are you kidding? I don't even understand that phrase.

Other than the 6 NBA titles - Michael Jordan is the same as me.

Is the front motor different b/w the two? I just assume that the rear motor is different only.

Cyberbeast vs AWD Motor

The powertrain layouts of the Tesla Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast are fundamentally different, primarily in the placement and type of electric motors. The AWD model uses a permanent magnet motor on the rear axle and an induction motor on the front axle, resulting in a combined output of 600 hp. In contrast, the Cyberbeast reconfigures this layout by placing a permanent magnet motor on the front axle and two induction motors on the rear axle, one for each wheel, delivering a peak combined output of 845 hp. This difference in motor placement means the Cyberbeast is predominantly front-wheel drive during normal cruising, while the AWD model is predominantly rear-wheel drive. The front motor in the Cyberbeast is a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is different from the induction motor used in the front of the AWD model. This configuration allows the Cyberbeast to utilize a mechanical locking differential on the front axle, while the rear wheels are independently controlled by the two induction motors, providing a form of independent locking without a traditional mechanical differential.
