So long as we are posting creative, inexpensive solutions, here is mine. It’s a black trash can from Target. I put a 3 lb barbell weight in the bottom held in place by nano tape. Works great and I like that’s is covered (without requiring two hands to throw something away) and the only round thing in the truck.

Also have one of these cup holder trays that also makes road tripping nicer. It locks into the CT cup holder well. The tray slides off and rests in front of the mini-fridge easily when not in use.

My 3$ ceter console storage (picked it up during my 7000 mile trip to Florida) started spreading at the top and the handle broke after just 4 months I figure it was time to upgrade.

Costco had its sweet knock off bag that looked like a close fit for 39.99$, 10 minutes of trimming and test fits I’m updated.

Those beach totes come in several colors. Personally I would be spraying this with flat black paint inside and out. But its a flexible silicon material and paint may not adhere.
