Interested to know if anyone else has had passengers sitting in the rear seat experiencing any motion sickness. I have had a few, and I believe it is due to the height of the front seats. Curious.

My daughter has that issue only when she watches screen in the back. Also she sits in the middle seat.

Try FSD and report back about motion sickness.
I find FSD to be quite smooth.
Especially on throttle lift braking, where us humans are not so smooth.

Hmm.. I will see if FSD makes a difference. Sitting in the middle does help bc they can see forward.

I take foster kids to and from school. An 8 year old threw up but I think it’s because I let him and his sister watch a kids show on YouTube for the 18 minute drive on city streets in Mad Max mode.

I think it is the height from side windows that make it harder for shorter people to see out along with front seats. When I am back there I am usually sleeping.

Even my dogs hate it when back there. Fold up the seats even more. Like a moving black hole.

The back windows are high relative to the seats, and the front seats are huge. So I think you just don’t see as much as a rear passenger.

But also, look at your driving. If new to regen braking it can feel jerky to a passenger depending on how smoothly you let off the accelerator.

Not what you are asking but,
My wife starts feeling sick, in the front passenger seat, only if I am in beast mode. She is fine in comfort or standard. She normally never has motion sickness.

G-force bro, it’s actually not very nice to be non-thrill seeking passenger in a high torque vehicle

I haven't experienced any issues with my wife/daughter, but I do remember giving my friend a ride and him feeling uneasy in the front seat as we took a corner. He gets motion sickness from roller coasters and riding in the back of a car, so his sensitivity is high.

I remember the first time I did a U-turn in our X7 (also has rear-steer) it felt a little odd/uneasy. IMO I think in large part it's a result of unfamiliarity with the feeling of a having such a variable yaw center in a car. You can feel it in your gut, the same feeling you get if a regular car's rear steps out during oversteer situations. I think in people more sensitive to this, like my friend, it signals "whoa momma, somthin ain't right", since as you add in more steering wheel angle you're shifting your yaw center forward.
